Website Creation Day

This is a chance to create the website that you’ve always wanted in an open and supportive environment. Spend the day in beautiful surroundings of the Beetroot Tree art gallery and gardens – and make your website happen with the help and support of staff and friends.

The day starts with an overview of everything you need to know about the internet: (domain names, url’s, google ranking, meta data, etc.) in order to have a successful site.

Then spend time creating your website using the butterflytent, with expert help at hand when you need it.

There is time in the day for: help crafting your perfect content; selecting beautiful images (complete with all you need to resize and crop them perfectly to your website); choosing and setting up your website domain; formatting text content on your site; and how to add extras such as maps and calendars.

There is time in the day for us to take a high resolution photo of you for use on your website and other promotional material. Suitable photos are surprisingly hard to find in one’s own photo albums and can make a huge difference. Dress in your favorite colors!

Rupert Meese will guide you through every step of the way using theButterflytent.com to host your new site.

• a Laptop
• Any photo’s/Images you want for your website
• Lunch (if you do not want to get lunch from the wonderful Beetroot Tree Cafe).
